OUR GOVERNANCE

Our community interest company (CIC), festival and related activities are guided by a Board, an Executive Team (including a Programming Committee) and a Residents & Businesses Group. More information about each team is provided below.

Our Board

Our Board is led by Orphy Robinson MBE. Membership is set for 2-years and is reappoint-able. It meets quarterly and is responsible for strategic direction, efficacy and scrutiny of our policies. We require at least 6 (out of a maximum of 10) members to live or work in Watford.

Our Executive Team & Programming Committee

Day to day running of the organisation is led by Chris Newstead, alongside Orphy Robinson and Ruth Fisher. Our Programming Committee is led by Ruth Fisher, alongside Orphy and Chris, with further occasional support from Chris Philips.

Our Residents & Businesses Group

Opinions & ideas representing our local community are given by this group. We meet at least three times a year and there is no limit on the number of members. It has a particular focus on how our annual Jazz Steps event runs.
